The newest addition to CMB’s educational SCUBA team, Lorenzo possesses a wide range of professional abilities. He is a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Master SCUBA Diver Trainer, a NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) Technical Diving Instructor, a licensed ADCI (Association of Diving Contractors International) Commercial Diver, and a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
Lorenzo provides all levels of SCUBA instruction and leads specialized courses in closed circuit rebreathers First Aid, CPR, and AED. He has traveled extensively and explored some of the world’s most biologically diverse marine ecosystems. His passion for diving and the responsible exploration of world’s oceans is evident in his ability to inspire that same passion in his students. A proud father of two (ages 6 and 10), Lorenzo enjoys working with children and instilling them with a fascination for the ocean and a profound respect for its inhabitants. Over the last eight years, he has SCUBA-trained students of all ages with a consistent emphasis on safety and stewardship.
Lorenzo is an avid underwater videographer who enjoys sharing his excitement over the underwater realm through videos that capture marine animals in their natural habitats (click here to view one of Lorenzo’s lively creations). He also invests a portion of his spare time to support the Florida-based Caribbean Conservation Corporation in its efforts to protect endangered sea turtles, his favorite marine animals. Wreck diving is among Lorenzo’s favorite underwater experiences and he eagerly looks forward to extending his training to caves and other unusual underwater environments.
